Transmission of Coronavirus from player to player while attending bridge playing session:

Remind all players that they can take a lateral flow test before attending the club and not to attend the club if they have any symptoms in order to protect others. 

 

1 Through touching hard surfaces or equipment already touched by infected person.

1.1 Venue Features: Door Knobs, light switches, etc.

Players, staff, visitors, volunteers acquiring virus by touching contaminated objects or surfaces.

• Cleaning and disinfect objects and surfaces that are likely to be touchedregularly

 

 

 

• Providing hand washing facilities or hand sanitiser for all people coming in to the club

 

Staff from Sports Village to ensure cleaning procedures carried out in accordance with their own Risk Assessment procedures

 

 

 

 

 

 

Asking players, visitors, staff and members to wash or sanitise their hands on arrival.

Areas in toilets may be contaminated by one player and touched by another

Hot watersoap and disposable towels are available in the toilets.

 

All players to be asked to wait outside toilet if more than two people are in the area.

• Hand sanitizer at each table for players to use between boards and using bidding boxes.

Check hand sanitizer is available at each table.

 

Each member to collect their own bidding box at the start of each session and all EW pairings to take their boxes from table to table.
